The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Racicot connects with a leg kick.
Racicot fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Laokandi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Laokandi swinging wildly here.
Laokandi is looking to clinch but Racicot is avoiding it.
Laokandi avoids the body shot from Racicot.
Laokandi on the wrong end of a nice hook.

It looks like Gabin Laokandi has been cut.
Laokandi tries to land a front kick but Racicot steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A lazy left from Racicot finds it's target.
Racicot misses with a wild body shot.
Racicot throws a body punch but Laokandi moves out of range.
Laokandi closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Racicot scores with a decent looking hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laokandi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Racicot counters by moving into the clinch.
A shot in the inside from Racicot.
Laokandi looking to throw knees to the head but Racicot is blocking nicely.
A frustrated look appears on Racicot's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Laokandi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Racicot keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Laokandi's efforts to push away.
Laokandi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Laokandi blocks a body shot from Racicot.

Racicot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Laokandi walks into a big right hand from Racicot and goes down! The referee sends Racicot to a neutral corner as Laokandi gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Laokandi avoids the head kick by Racicot.
Laokandi wants to counter with a clinch but Racicot pushes him away.

Racicot throws out a head kick that Laokandi doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Laokandi crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Laokandi's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Racicot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Laokandi.
Laokandi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Racicot feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Laokandi collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
