Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steven Adefemi (ranked 2902 p4p, 2663 weight class) and Chief Chumbo (ranked 379 p4p, 352 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chief Chumbo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chumbo connects with a nice short shot to Adefemi's temple.

Chumbo is looking to take a break and control but Adefemi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Chumbo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Adefemi looks a forlorn figure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
