The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mihaljevic lands a right hook to the body.
Sanford throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mihaljevic.
Sanford takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sanford throws a front kick aimed at Mihaljevic's knee but Mihaljevic avoids it well.
A left lands for Mihaljevic.
Mihaljevic blocks a head kick by Sanford.

Mihaljevic misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sanford.
Sanford walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mihaljevic clobbers Sanford with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sanford connects with a solid leg kick.
Mihaljevic steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sanford. That one must have hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mihaljevic crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sanford - the referee stops the clock and Mihaljevic gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sanford. Mihaljevic manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sanford fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mihaljevic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mihaljevic, as that shot connected.
Mihaljevic scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Mihaljevic checks a leg kick nicely.
Sanford swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Tiff Sanford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mihaljevic tests Sanford's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mihaljevic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Mihaljevic lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Sanford - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Mihaljevic!
