Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Craig Ryan (ranked 5375 p4p, 3475 weight class) and Long Wang (ranked 550 p4p, 441 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Ryan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Long Wang! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Wang.
It looks like Craig Ryan has been cut. Good shot there by Wang. Wang misses with a wild body shot. Ryan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wang as he avoids it easily. Wang lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Wang getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Ryan clinches up against the cage. Ryan wants to take the fight to the mat but Wang manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Wang.
Wang blocks a body shot from Ryan. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wang after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Ryan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wang manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ryan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wang smiles and moves away.
Ryan with a poor takedown and Wang counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Wang pushes Ryan up against the cage in a clinch. Ryan can't get the takedown.
Wang is pushing Ryan up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ryan is trying to drag Wang to the mat but Wang just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wang smiles and moves away.
Wang moves into the clinch. Ryan tries to pull guard but Wang holds him up against the cage and eventually Ryan drops back down to his feet.
Ryan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wang walks away with a smile on his face. Ryan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ryan wants to clinch. Wang doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wang dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ryan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wang. Wang fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ryan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wang with a jab. Jab by Wang.
Ryan is rocked!
Craig Ryan's cut is getting worse. Wang throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ryan is breathing heavily. Wang is stalking Ryan. Ryan circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Wang, and it's lights out! Ryan really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Long Wang!
