The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Pepper wants to clinch.
Torres throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Torres closes the distance and clinches.
Torres manages to break the clinch.
Torres keeps the fight on the outside.
Pepper gets a double leg takedown into Torres's guard.
Torres wants to stand up but Pepper is controlling him.
Pepper wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pepper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round but I would say that Pablo Torres will probably get the nod.

Torres shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pepper defends it nicely.
Pepper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Torres manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Pepper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pepper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
