Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Delgado (ranked 4222 p4p, 4276 weight class) and Lee Stephens (ranked 533 p4p, 535 weight class). Marcus Delgado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcus Delgado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Stephens! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delgado tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stephens sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Delgado somewhat. Stephens looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Stephens keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stephens keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stephens unleashes a big counter combination but Delgado bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Delgado swinging wildly here.
Stephens slips under a jab from Delgado. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delgado throws a hook but Stephens blocks it. Stephens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Delgado circles away quickly and effectively. Stephens avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Delgado pushing out the jab but it's not landing. As Delgado backs off Stephens throws a huge counter combo but Delgado manages to avoid it all.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stephens's corner is telling him to maintain position. Delgado is trying to control the position but Stephens postures up. Stephens must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stephens won't allow Delgado to sweep him here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stephens lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Delgado is looking for a guillotine. Stephens closes the distance and clinches up with Delgado, looking for a takedown. Stephens pushes Delgado against the cage but Delgado circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A little jabbing left from Stephens on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Delgado throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. That was a close second round but I would say that Marcus Delgado will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Stephens manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Delgado on his heels. He'll look to pass Delgado's guard now, I'm sure. Delgado has his foot on Stephens's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stephens works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stephens wants to control from the top but Delgado keeps moving. Stephens lands a couple of elbows.
