Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jon Rudskogen (ranked 1954 p4p, 22565 weight class) and Chong Tay (ranked 264 p4p, 639 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Rudskogen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 35 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chong Tay! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tay throws a series of punches but Rudskogen avoids them all with ease. Tay looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rudskogen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 88Fight Club Gym88.. 800pw (16 COACHES) in the buildup to the fight. Tay looks for the body kick but Rudskogen saw that one coming. Tay thows a leg kick but Rudskogen checks it and Rudskogen counters with a flying knee. Nice. Rudskogen throws a head kick but Tay moves out of range.
Tay is looking to chop away at Rudskogen's legs. Rudskogen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Despite the aggression on Tay's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Rudskogen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Tay looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Rudskogen connects with a crisp jab. Tay fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tay throws a sloppy head kick and Rudskogen counters with a stiff right hand. Tay throws a leg kick which misses Rudskogen's front leg but catches the back leg as Rudskogen tries to avoid it. Chong Tay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rudskogen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tay stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tay goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Rudskogen misses the shot to the body. A head kick from Rudskogen lands but Tay takes it in his stride. Tay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tay misses with a leg kick and Rudskogen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Tay throws a series of punches but Rudskogen avoids them all with ease. Tay takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A bone on bone clash there as Rudskogen blocks the leg kick.
