Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miroslav Drozd!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drozd tries to clinch there but Vajag circles away.
Miroslav Drozd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drozd explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Vajag blocks a head kick by Drozd.
Drozd swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Drozd misses with a combination
and Vajag counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Drozd throws a head kick that half lands.
Vajag swats away the attempt to clinch by Drozd.
Drozd throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vajag counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Vajag swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Drozd clinches up against the cage.
Vajag is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Drozd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drozd throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vajag counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Drozd throws a lazy uppercut
and Vajag connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Drozd is rocked!
Drozd swings for the body but Vajag moves out of range.
Drozd is still on wobbly legs! Can Vajag finish him?
Drozd looks winded!
Vajag shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Drozd is on queer street and Vajag is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
