Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Theodore Epicity (ranked 2611 p4p, 18072 weight class) and Steel Penn Jr (ranked 340 p4p, 661 weight class). Epicity comes to the ring accompanied by Tempest by Deftones. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Theodore Epicity! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steel Penn Jr! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn Jr misses with a jab, cross combination.
Epicity connects with a solid leg kick. Epicity rushes Penn Jr and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Penn Jr has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Epicity stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Epicity is pushing Penn Jr up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Penn Jr looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Epicity swings wildly with an uppercut but Penn Jr uses good head movement to avoid it. Penn Jr wants to break the clinch but can't.
Epicity lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Epicity lands with a short shot to the head. Epicity blocks a body shot from Penn Jr. Epicity misses with a hook from the clinch. Penn Jr wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Penn Jr is trying to break the clinch but Epicity is controlling him. Epicity throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Penn Jrs head. We've been informed that Penn Jr has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
That's one minute gone in the round. Epicity softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Epicity lands a body punch in the clinch. Epicity working some nice short punches in the clinch. Penn Jr tries to break free but Epicity pushes him back against the ropes. Penn Jr throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Epicity blocks it with crossed arms. Penn Jr wants to break the clinch but can't.
Penn Jr tries to circle away but Epicity has him pinned against the ropes. Epicity prevents Penn Jr from breaking the clinch. Penn Jr prevents a body shot from Epicity. Penn Jr wants to break free but Epicity has control.
Epicity prevents a body shot from Penn Jr. Epicity keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Penn Jr's efforts to push away. Our sources have told us that Epicity has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Penn Jr manages to break the clinch.
Penn Jr takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Epicity fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Penn Jr, pushing him back against the ropes. Penn Jr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Penn Jr throws an off balance right hand
and Epicity counters with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Epicity feints and then cracks Penn Jr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Penn Jr down. Epicity is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Penn Jr. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Epicity tests Penn Jr's chin there with a solid looking shot. Penn Jr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Epicity. Penn Jr throws a poor cross that misses
and Epicity counters with a straight right hand.
Penn Jr is rocked! Penn Jr walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Penn Jr is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Theodore Epicity! Theodore Epicity spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
