Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Wilcox (ranked 22873 p4p, 2968 weight class) and Bevan Bricker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bricker darts in trying to clinch
and Wilcox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bricker scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Donovan Wilcox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bricker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wilcox jabs Bricker right on the nose. Bricker blinks but takes it well.
Bricker lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wilcox throws a shot from downtown. Bricker moves away and avoids it.
Wilcox looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wilcox shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bricker is trying to defend but Wilcox finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
