Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Bellafontane (ranked 2073 p4p, 6123 weight class) and Gunnar Hamundarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Bellafontane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gunnar Hamundarson!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamundarson has managed to clinch.
Bellafontane cracks Hamundarson with a nice body shot.
Hamundarson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hamundarson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bellafontane's waist but Bellafontane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hamundarson off to one side.
Hamundarson tries to close the distance and clinch but Bellafontane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bellafontane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hamundarson gets a clinch.
Bellafontane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bellafontane misses with a combination
and Hamundarson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bellafontane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hamundarson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bellafontane is looking for a sweep. Hamundarson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hamundarson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hamundarson is keen to just control but Bellafontane is a slippery customer.
Bellafontane works his way to full guard. Good work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bellafontane is on top in guard.
Bellafontane postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bellafontane with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Bellafontane definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bellafontane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bellafontane makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hamundarson wants to sweep but no luck.
Bellafontane distracts Hamundarson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hamundarson looks winded!
Hamundarson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Hamundarson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hamundarson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Bellafontane loads up on a big left hand. Hamundarson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bellafontane looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hamundarson can't hide his disappointment, as Bellafontane celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Bellafontane!
