Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dobrogost Lis (ranked 4582 p4p, 4580 weight class) and Grigor Maddox (ranked 81 p4p, 80 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dobrogost Lis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maddox gets a clinch.
Lis is trying to pull guard but Maddox has him pressed against the cage.
Lis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Maddox gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lis is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Maddox is defending well for now.
Maddox changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lis fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Lis shoots in and bounces Maddox off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Maddox has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lis has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lis successfully pulls guard.
Maddox advances position into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lis tries to improve position but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lis is trying to control Maddox's posture but Maddox avoids it.
Lis tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Maddox working the head and body with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maddox stands up and beckons Lis to his feet.
Lis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Maddox fails with a takedown attempt.

Maddox dives in and scores a takedown into Lis's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Maddox trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maddox passes Lis's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Maddox stops Lis from getting back to his feet.
Maddox controlling the action here.
Let's hope that Maddox has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Lis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
