Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazar Assamita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Robins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assamita's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Click Click Boom. Robins has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Joe Robins looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Robins! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Assamita looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Robins needs to keep his hands up - Assamita had a free shot at his head there. Robins looks gassed! Robins fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Robins stuffs the takedown. Nice uppercut there from Assamita. Nice combo by Assamita! Oh, that's hurt him - Robins falls to the canvas and Assamita follows him into side control.
Robins is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Assamita tries to stand but Robins is controlling his head. Robins is still in real trouble! Can Assamita finish him? Assamita scores with a couple of short elbows. Assamita is looking to take a break and control but Robins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Robins seems to have recovered his senses. Assamita is putting a hurting on Robins here, landing some big shots from side control.

Assamita is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Robins will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Assamita grinds an elbow into Robins's temple. Robins is working to avoid the ground and pound but Assamita connects with a decent elbow. Assamita is chipping away with strikes.

Robins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Assamita. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Robins can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Assamita cracks Robins with a big elbow. Robins takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Robins takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robins can do anything to dispel that myth. This has been an exciting period of action! Assamita is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Robins is trying to escape and Assamita transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Robins is forced to tap! Nice work there by Assamita! Very nice indeed!
