Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Edgy Brah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Garcia!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brah is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Garcia lands a jab to Brah's midsection.
Brah throws a hook but Garcia blocks it.
Brah fails in his attempt to clinch.
Brah is breathing heavily.
Jab by Garcia.
We've been told by Brah's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Brah tries to clinch but Garcia moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Garcia on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Brah pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Brah stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Garcia.
Garcia misses with an attempted mid kick.
Brah throws an off balance right hand
and Garcia counters with a stiff right hand.
Garcia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Garcia cracks Brah with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Garcia has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Brah to stand back up!
Brah is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Garcia just misses with a punch to the body.
Garcia does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A quick step to the side and Brah tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brah throws the left hand but Garcia avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Garcia lands with a right and another and another! Brah is in big trouble! Garcia lands again and this time it's lights out for Brah! A quality knockout there for Garcia.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kyle Garcia!
