Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian Strong (ranked 5182 p4p, 6539 weight class) and Lance Lyde (ranked 595 p4p, 648 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lance Lyde!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyde lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Strong looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ian Strong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lyde connects with a right hand. Strong shakes it off.
Lyde throws a hook but Strong avoids it easily.
Strong is looking to counter the offense by Lyde and move into the clinch.
Strong buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Good shot there by Lyde.
Good exchange - Lyde coming out on top.
Lyde throws a shot from downtown. Strong moves away and avoids it.
Lyde moves away from the strike by Strong.
Lyde looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Strong tries a low kick but Lyde avoids it.
Strong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lyde manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Strong throws an off balance right hand
and Lyde cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Strong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Strong throws a poor cross that misses
and Strong is countered with a crisp right hand from Lyde that sends him to the canvas! Lyde follows him to the mat into side control.
Strong is rocked!
It looks like Ian Strong has been cut.
Lyde throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Oh Strong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Strong avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lyde.
Lyde throws an elbow but Strong slips to the side and avoids it well.
Lyde cracks Strong with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Lyde immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Strong is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Lyde!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Lyde!
Lance Lyde gave a mention to Redemption ink in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
