Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sum Yung Gai (ranked 2373 p4p, 6528 weight class) and King Kong (ranked 332 p4p, 567 weight class). Sum Yung Gai has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sum Yung Gai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, King Kong! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yung Gai pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kong lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Yung Gai at a distance.
Kong dives in and scores a takedown into Yung Gai's guard. Yung Gai is controlling Kong's posture. Kong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kong content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Yung Gai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kong throws a big right hand that misses. Kong throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kong loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kong throws a strike but Yung Gai rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Yung Gai gets to his feet - Kong follows without any prompting. Kong misses with a hook. Yung Gai takes a swing at Kong's ribcage but misses. Yung Gai cracks a nice hook into Kong's ribs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yung Gai drives through and clinches with Kong against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Yung Gai to keep the fight standing. Yung Gai prevents the takedown attempt.
Yung Gai scores with a shoulder strike. A nice left hand lands by Yung Gai.
Yung Gai scores with a shoulder strike. Yung Gai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Yung Gai scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like King Kong has been cut. Kong scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Yung Gai struggling a bit here. Kong lands a nice forearm strike. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yung Gai is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kong's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Kong lands with a punch from half guard. Kong prevents Yung Gai from standing back up.
Kong not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yung Gai keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Yung Gai is pressing down on Kong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kong working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Yung Gai's head. Kong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kong throws a strike but Yung Gai rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kong wants to sweep but no luck. Yung Gai is looking to stand up but Kong won't let him. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kong wants to sweep here but Yung Gai controlling him for the moment. Kong is working an open guard so Yung Gai takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Kong slips under a jab from Yung Gai. Kong steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Yung Gai. Yung Gai is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yung Gai just misses with a punch to the body.
Kong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yung Gai did well to prevent Kong getting side control. Yung Gai regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kong. Kong keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yung Gai's head. Yung Gai is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kong cracks Yung Gai with a solid left hand. Kong throws a big elbow that misses. Kong throws an elbow that misses. Yung Gai uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kong's guard. Nice move by Yung Gai! Kong tries to land a sweep but no joy. Yung Gai stands up and waves to Kong to follow him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kong closes the distance and clinches. Yung Gai breaks from the clinch.
King Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yung Gai did well to prevent Kong getting side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kong throws a strike but Yung Gai avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Yung Gai controlling the position. Kong throws an elbow that misses. Yung Gai uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kong's guard. Nice move by Yung Gai!
Yung Gai decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kong, up you get! Yung Gai misses with an uppercut. Kong saw that one coming. Kong ducks under a wild hook from Yung Gai. Yung Gai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kong. Sum Yung Gai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Kong. Yung Gai lands a nice shot to the body.
Kong shoots in for a double leg but Yung Gai sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sum Yung Gai dominated that round. The cut man is working on King Kong's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Kong throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Yung Gai jabs Kong right on the nose. Kong blinks but takes it well. Yung Gai misses with a hook. Yung Gai weaves into range and cracks Kong right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Kong goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Yung Gai is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sum Yung Gai! Our winner, Sum Yung Gai, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
