Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joro Paveto (ranked 3015 p4p, 4703 weight class) and Tenshin Nas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paveto's entrance music is Imperial March. A fine choice. Tenshin Nas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joro Paveto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tenshin Nas!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Paveto as he jumps to the side.
Nas swats away the attempt to clinch by Paveto.
The fighters circling - Paveto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nas dives in for a single leg takedown but Paveto sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nas shoots in but Paveto avoids the takedown attempt easily.
As Nas tries to get set, Paveto tries to push him back and clinch up but Nas manages to avoid the attempt.

Nas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Paveto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nas somewhat.

Paveto digs a right hand into Nas's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Nas's gas tank.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Joro Paveto will probably get the nod.

Paveto struggles to land a body shot inside as Nas controls his hands.

Nas blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Paveto darts in and clinches Nas up against the cage.
Paveto lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nas backwards.

Nas manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Nas is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Paveto presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nas drags the fight down to the ground.

Nas has his foot on Paveto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Paveto works his way back into a safe position though.
Nas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Nas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Paveto defends well.

Nas lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Nas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Let's hope that Nas has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Nas passes Paveto's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nas is taking a breather. Paveto says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

After the fight, Joro Paveto was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
