Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Javier Arroyo (ranked 1241 p4p, 1299 weight class) and Johnny Billabong (ranked 166 p4p, 177 weight class). Billabong is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Waltzing Matilda. The key to victory for Javier Arroyo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Arroyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Billabong!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Arroyo.
A nice inside leg kick there by Arroyo. That's going to slow Billabong down.
Arroyo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Billabong will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Arroyo up against the cage.
Arroyo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Billabong has him pressed against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Billabong working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
