Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Gordon (ranked 5797 p4p, 4709 weight class) and Mateusz Strzyga (ranked 0 p4p, 519 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon rushes Strzyga and presses him up against the cage.
Strzyga is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gordon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Strzyga to the mat. Strzyga regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Strzyga is looking for a triangle but Gordon pushes his legs off easily.
Strzyga is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gordon defends well.
Gordon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Strzyga has momentary wrist control but Gordon slips an elbow through the middle.
Gordon postures up and lands a big shot to Strzyga's brow.
Gordon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Strzyga has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gordon has managed to get both his arms back between Strzyga's legs - danger averted.
Strzyga looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Strzyga is rocked!
Gordon postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Strzyga's head off the mat! Strzyga is out! He's out! Gordon jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
