Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Artie DeVanzo (ranked 601 p4p, 529 weight class) and Donnie Larkin (ranked 91 p4p, 77 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donnie Larkin!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larkin forces DeVanzo back against the cage and clinches.
Larkin wants to take the fight to the mat but DeVanzo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Larkin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Larkin tries to close the distance and clinch but DeVanzo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
DeVanzo misses with a two punch combination.
Larkin gets a clinch.
DeVanzo tries to work over Larkin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
DeVanzo lands a shoulder strike.
DeVanzo is trying to trip Larkin. He has hold of a leg but Larkin is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. DeVanzo persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
DeVanzo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Larkin is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! DeVanzo rolls with it to try and escape but Larkin cranks on the arm and DeVanzo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Donnie Larkin was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
