The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Megaton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Megaton throws a leg kick that is checked
and McDonald counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Mike Megaton has been cut.
Megaton throws a hook to the side of McDonald's head but McDonald sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Megaton looks for the body kick but McDonald saw that one coming.
Megaton has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Megaton goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
McDonald doesn't manage to clinch there - Megaton circles away.
McDonald clobbers Megaton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A head kick misses from Megaton.
McDonald fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Megaton throws a head kick that misses.
Megaton ducks right into an uppercut from McDonald.
Megaton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Megaton tries to land a front kick but McDonald steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
McDonald changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Megaton missing with a left hand there. McDonald was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
McDonald punishes Megaton's body with a nice straight punch.
McDonald stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Megaton.
Mike Megaton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDonald misses with an uppercut.
Megaton misses with a body kick.
McDonald fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Megaton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Megaton looks winded!

McDonald scores with a crisp jab that stopped Megaton in his tracks.

That has opened up Mike Megaton's cut even more.

and McDonald counters with a right hand to the body.

McDonald measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Megaton! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
