PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hratch Tzien (ranked 497 p4p, 881 weight class) and Edgy Brah (ranked 57 p4p, 89 weight class). Tzien comes to the cage accompanied by R*ck It. Brah is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dropped by Smoke Serpent. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tzien takes a swing at Brah's ribcage but misses.

and Tzien counters with a good, hard body kick but Brah shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tzien is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tzien fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Brah just misses with a elbow thrown towards Tzien's brow.

Tzien fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Brah is trying to drag Tzien to the mat but Tzien just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hratch Tzien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edgy Brah.

Brah has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tzien clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Tzien turns into Brah and is now in his guard.
Tzien stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brah swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tzien wants to control from the top but Brah keeps moving.
Tzien is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tzien works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tzien tries to pass to full mount but Brah defends it.

Brah is trying to control but can't.
Tzien prevents Brah from improving his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brah regains full guard. Nicely done.

Tzien drops back looking for a leg! Brah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brah manages to kick Tzien off! Tzien jumps back into Brah's guard.

Tzien makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Tzien lands a shot to the body.
Brah blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Brah is looking to control Tzien's arms but Tzien gets an underhook and turns him. Now Brah has his back to the cage.
Tzien misses with some punches.
I was talking to Tzien's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Tzien goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Brah escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brah throws a leg kick that misses.

Brah shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Brah is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tzien has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Brah is looking to defend but Tzien has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Brah! Tzien pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Brah taps out and this one is all over!

Hratch Tzien decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
