Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Terrell (ranked 1997 p4p, 3249 weight class) and Severo Del Bosque (ranked 259 p4p, 402 weight class). Del Bosque is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mimosa - Drippin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phillip Terrell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 40 - 0, fighting out of London, Severo Del Bosque! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Bosque ducks right into an uppercut from Terrell. Del Bosque misses with a straight right. A nice inside leg kick there by Terrell. That's going to slow Del Bosque down. Del Bosque keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Terrell. Del Bosque checks a leg kick. Phillip Terrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Terrell moves into range and connects with a jab. Terrell loads up on a big right hand but Del Bosque slips the punch. Del Bosque walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Terrell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Terrell is looking to counter the offense by Del Bosque and move into the clinch. Del Bosque lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Del Bosque throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Terrell looks to land a right hand but Del Bosque moved out of range. Terrell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Del Bosque moves away. Del Bosque misses with a low kick.
Del Bosque throws a leg kick but Terrell moved away. Terrell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Del Bosque trying to land knees to the body.
Del Bosque swings wildly with an uppercut but Terrell uses good head movement to avoid it. Del Bosque misses with a short punch on the inside. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Terrell tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Terrell blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Terrell lands a left hand.

Del Bosque's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Del Bosque tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Terrell avoids it. Del Bosque is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Del Bosque lands a left hand.
Terrell fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Del Bosque throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Terrell throws a punch but it's blocked by Del Bosque. Del Bosque missing with knees to the body.
Del Bosque scores with a nice hook to the head. Del Bosque misses with the head strike.
Terrell struggles to land a body shot inside as Del Bosque controls his hands.

I was talking to Terrell's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Del Bosque blocks an uppercut.
Terrell lands a nice shot to the body. Del Bosque trying to land knees to the body.
Still in the clinch, Terrell scores with a nice short uppercut. Terrell blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
This has been an exciting period of action! Terrell breaks from the clinch.
Terrell has Del Bosque up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Del Bosque missing with knees to the body.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Terrell. Del Bosque escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice defenses there by Del Bosque. Terrell gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Del Bosque shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Del Bosque takes a body punch but keeps moving. Del Bosque throws a head kick that misses. Del Bosque walks into a stiff left hand from Terrell. Terrell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Del Bosque. Del Bosque obviously looking to wear him down.
Terrell scores with a hook to the body. Del Bosque takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Terrell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Del Bosque tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Good exchange - Terrell coming out on top.
Del Bosque is rocked! Terrell closes the distance looking to clinch and Del Bosque cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Del Bosque is still on wobbly legs! Can Terrell finish him? Terrell scores with a jab to the head.
Terrell walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Del Bosque drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Terrell swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Del Bosque's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phillip Terrell! An out of breath Phillip Terrell thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
