Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Friedrichsen (ranked 1801 p4p, 1439 weight class) and Gilberto Chamba (ranked 235 p4p, 191 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chamba has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Friedrichsen from any more punishment! Friedrichsen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
