Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Da Silva (ranked 4508 p4p, 4626 weight class) and Hari Pantoja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Da Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hari Pantoja! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Silva instigates a clinch. Pantoja is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Da Silva tries to pull guard but Pantoja forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Da Silva decides to pull guard. Pantoja trying to control but Da Silva is working from the bottom. Da Silva has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Da Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pantoja's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Da Silva controlling from the top position. Pantoja is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Da Silva is holding on to half guard well. Pantoja wants to take a breather but Da Silva is having none of it. Da Silva is trying is best to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Da Silva is trying to maintain the position but Pantoja is very close to passing his half guard. Da Silva regains full guard. Nicely done. Da Silva pulls Pantoja in close to his closed guard and prevents Pantoja from doing any damage or advancing position. Da Silva being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Da Silva has his hands on Pantoja's head, controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Da Silva darts in and clinches Pantoja up against the cage. Da Silva fails to pull guard.
Da Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pantoja uses from the top position. Pantoja is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Da Silva is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Da Silva has escaped and now he's on top! Pantoja wants to stand up but Da Silva is controlling him.

Pantoja swats away the attempt to clinch by Da Silva. Pantoja counters with a body kick. Da Silva gets a double leg takedown into Pantoja's guard. Da Silva controls from within his opponent's guard. Pantoja working for submissions but it's allowed Da Silva to get to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pantoja trying to control from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Da Silva drives through with a takedown into guard. Da Silva not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Pantoja throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pantoja not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Da Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Da Silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pantoja is striking off his back. Da Silva thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Da Silva is taking a breather. Pantoja says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Pantoja tries to roll over but Da Silva keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Da Silva sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Pantoja shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Da Silva could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Da Silva drives through with a takedown into guard. Pantoja manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Pantoja is breathing heavily. Da Silva tries for a takedown but Pantoja manages to get underhooks.

Da Silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pantoja manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Da Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pantoja has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Da Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Pantoja's legs - danger averted. Da Silva sitting in guard here, content to control. That's one minute gone in the round. Da Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work. Pantoja is being controlled here. Da Silva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pantoja for as long as he can get away with. Da Silva continues to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. More hug and hope from Da Silva.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Da Silva controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Pantoja wants to get back to his feet but Da Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Da Silva not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Pantoja controls Da Silva momentarily but Da Silva frees himself. Da Silva forces his way into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pantoja is looking to escape. Still in half guard, Da Silva seems content to control. Pantoja is looking for a sweep. Da Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Pantoja takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Da Silva keeps the fight on the outside. Da Silva has closed the distance and engaged Pantoja in a clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Hari Pantoja comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Da Silva has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
