Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Cain (ranked 2388 p4p, 6182 weight class) and Pal Simmeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pal Simmeon!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ron Honeybunn and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmeon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cain under the eye.
Simmeon works Cain's body with a nice hook.
Simmeon throws an overhand right that lands on Cain's shoulder, as Cain tries to avoid the shot.
It looked like Cain was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Simmeon throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cain counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Simmeon thinking.
Cain dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Simmeon looks winded!
Cain lands with a nice body punch.

Cain moves into range and clinches up with Simmeon.
Simmeon throws a punch but it's blocked by Cain.
Simmeon swings wildly with an uppercut but Cain uses good head movement to avoid it.
Simmeon lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Cain scores with a shoulder strike.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Simmeon struggles to land a body shot inside as Cain controls his hands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left hand lands to the body for Cain.
Simmeon lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Cain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Simmeon looks to score with a jab to the body but Cain is just out of range.
Simmeon throws a poor cross that misses
and Cain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Pal Simmeon has been cut.
Simmeon misses with a lunging right hand

and Cain counters with a right hand that sends Simmeon tumbling to the canvas! Can Cain finish him? He dives into Simmeon's guard looking to do just that!

Simmeon is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cain decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Simmeon is still on wobbly legs! Can Cain finish him?
Simmeon catches Cain with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Simmeon misses with an uppercut
and Cain counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cain cracks Simmeon with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
