The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath tries to clinch up
and Girith counters with a nice uppercut.

Heath has taken the fight to the clinch.
Heath tries to land a knee to the head but Girith blocks with his arms.
Girith throws a punch but it's blocked by Heath.
Heath misses with a knee to the head.
A head punch on the inside from Girith fails to land.
Heath misses with a knee strike.
Girith tries to work over Heath's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Girith swings wildly with an uppercut but Heath uses good head movement to avoid it.
Girith throws a head punch that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Girith looking to hit a scissor sweep but Heath is one step ahead there.

Girith is looking to cinch up a triangle. Heath throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Girith's body to avoid the submission. Girith has instead reached around Heath's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Girith arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

A relieved looking Garyn Girith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
