The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Nitro dives in for a single leg takedown but Reaper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
And Reaper tries to counter it with a takedown but Nitro pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nitro is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Reaper gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Nitro has Reaper pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nitro pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Reaper tumbling to the mat - Nitro dives into Reaper's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Reaper is controlling an arm, preventing Nitro from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Reaper is trying desperately to improve position.

Nitro seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reaper for as long as he can get away with.

Nitro wants to take Reaper's back here but Reaper is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

I really don't envy Reaper right now.
Nitro slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Nitro has the hooks in. Reaper is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Nitro trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Reaper doesn't escape.
Nitro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Reaper biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape.

Reaper is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Nitro.

Nitro has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Reaper's body.
