Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hiroshima Nagasaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Papi Squalli!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squalli misses with a few strikes there.
Nagasaki tries to keep at a distance but Squalli has taken the fight into the clinch.
Squalli manages to break the clinch.
Nagasaki scores with a decent looking hook.
Squalli looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The fighters circle momentarily. Nagasaki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looked like Nagasaki was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Squalli tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nagasaki uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Squalli.
Nagasaki feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Nagasaki cracks a nice hook into Squalli's ribs.
We've been told by Nagasaki's head coaches at Island Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nagasaki moves away from the strike by Squalli.
Squalli closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nagasaki counters with a stiff right hand.
Nagasaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Squalli looks winded!
Nagasaki has Squalli up against the cage in a clinch.
Nagasaki lands an uppercut.
Nagasaki softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Squalli pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Squalli takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

A nice leg kick lands there from Nagasaki.
A jab from Nagasaki finds it's way through Squalli's defenses.

Nagasaki lands a nice leg kick that just misses Squalli's sensitive parts.
Nagasaki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nagasaki lands a left and a right that send Squalli crashing to the mat, dazed. Nagasaki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Squalli is rocked!
Squalli takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nagasaki connects with an inside leg kick.
Squalli takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Squalli is still on wobbly legs! Can Nagasaki finish him?

Nagasaki clinches with his opponent.
Squalli seems to have recovered his senses.
Nagasaki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nagasaki throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Squalli crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hiroshima Nagasaki!
Hiroshima Nagasaki was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
