Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shingen Takeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Billy Billy!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Billy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takeda moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Takeda drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Takeda passes Billy's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Takeda is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Takeda wants to work for an arm triangle but Billy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Takeda is working for a submission of some sort.
Billy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takeda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Takeda looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Billy is defending against the submission attempts here by Takeda.
Takeda is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Billy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Takeda.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takeda seems to be working for a kimura but Billy defends the submission attempt.
