Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gilmat Kirk (ranked 1349 p4p, 1065 weight class) and Aaron Petrov (ranked 145 p4p, 113 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kirk might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lords of Iron. Petrov has chosen Star.One - Original Badman Feat. Takura & Assassin as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk moves out of range of the leg kick from Petrov.
Petrov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kirk rushes Petrov and presses him up against the cage.
Petrov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kirk's elbow.
Kirk lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Petrov backwards.

Petrov tries to work over Kirk's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Kirk changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Petrov fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kirk is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Petrov can't fight it off and eventually Kirk manages to take the fight to the floor. Petrov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kirk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Petrov swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gilmat Kirk will probably get the nod.
