Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson Shaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tristan Young!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Young tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Young has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Young swings around for an armbar but Shaw sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Young's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shaw accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Shaw pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Young is keeping the position for now.
Shaw seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Young keeping moving, preventing Shaw from controlling successfully.

Shaw drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Shaw seems to have locked his on tight now - Young screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Shaw, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Jackson Shaw!
After the fight, Jackson Shaw was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
