Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mantak Garuda (ranked 30 p4p, 23 weight class) and Tong Po (ranked 6 p4p, 5 weight class). Garuda comes to the cage accompanied by Djiin Djiin. Po has chosen Muay Thai Music - Wai Khru Ram Muay as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Garuda can pounce on him.
Garuda throws a low kick, looking for Po's leg but Po calmly moves out of range.
Po moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Po looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Garuda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Po's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

and Po counters with a crisp one two that drops Garuda! Po thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Garuda to his feet! Garuda is in big trouble!
Garuda is rocked!
Garuda jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Oh Garuda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Garuda throws a push kick but Po slaps the foot to one side.
Po swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Garuda misses with a left hand
and Po counters with a nice right hand that sends Garuda toppling to the canvas! Garuda scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Po finish him?!
Mantak Garuda's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Po is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Po drops Garuda with a straight right hand, right on the button! Po follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
