The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flijers scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Flijers's coaches at Hotrod Express MMA Training have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banahatti slips a nice elbow through Flijers's hands, connecting with Flijers's forehead.
Banahatti is nestled in close to Flijers, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Banahatti lands with a punch from half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bhima Banahatti really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
