Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Bach (ranked 2356 p4p, 1762 weight class) and Pate Murhapuro (ranked 296 p4p, 238 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Sebastian Bach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pate Murhapuro!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bach misses with a two punch combination.
A jab lands there for Murhapuro.

Bach feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Murhapuro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bach accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bach throws an elbow that misses. Murhapuro uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bach's guard. Nice move by Murhapuro!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bach has his foot on Murhapuro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Murhapuro works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bach takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bach.
Murhapuro connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Sebastian Bach has been cut.
Bach lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Murhapuro needs to keep his hands up - Bach had a free shot at his head there.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Murhapuro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Murhapuro throws a looping overhand right but Bach ducks down to avoid it.

It looked like Bach was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Murhapuro.
No joy there for Murhapuro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pate Murhapuro seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Murhapuro throws a lazy right hand but Bach sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bach shoots in looking for a takedown. Murhapuro tries to sprawl out of it but Bach keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murhapuro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Murhapuro unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Bach! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Murhapuro is unloading with more strikes now! Bach drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
