The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niska looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Marceau is looking for the big counter here.
Marceau scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Juha Niska has been cut.
Juha Niska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Niska connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Marceau's hands.

A slow jab from Marceau misses its intended target.
Niska feints and then cracks Marceau's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marceau down.
Niska misses with a looping right.
Marceau takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Niska throws a lazy right hand but Marceau sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A little jabbing left from Marceau on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Marceau uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Niska.
Marceau scores with the left hand. Niska knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Niska throws a low kick but it's checked well by Marceau.

and Marceau counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Niska is breathing heavily.

Marceau cracks Niska with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Marceau has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Niska to stand back up!

Marceau lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Niska head around and knocks him out cold! Marceau hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
