Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boss Yonic (ranked 3467 p4p, 2193 weight class) and Teeth Ferret (ranked 466 p4p, 313 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferret lands with a kick to the temple. Yonic shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Boss Yonic has been cut.
A thudding body kick lands there by Ferret!
Yonic connects with a nice looking jab.
Ferret uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yonic.
Ferret wants to counter with a clinch but Yonic pushes him away.
Ferret throws a head kick that half lands.
Ferret throws a big shot that misses.
Yonic loads up on a big right hand but Ferret slips the punch.
Yonic stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Yonic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yonic wants it to stay on the feet.
Ferret tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yonic swivels and escapes.

Ferret closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yonic did well to prevent Ferret getting side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ferret is just content to waste time from the top position. Yonic takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Yonic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ferret has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ferret is keen to just control but Yonic is a slippery customer.
Yonic is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ferret's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ferret's back!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ferret enables Yonic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ferret manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
