PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Roy (ranked 567 p4p, 169 weight class) and Mick Murphy (ranked 80 p4p, 23 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rob Roy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rob Roy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Murphy. Those never looked like landing.
Mick Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Murphy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Roy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Roy cracks Murphy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Murphy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Roy finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Roy might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
