The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sokol on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Phillips trying to pass the guard but Sokol defending well.
Phillips thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Phillips really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sokol is trying to get back to full guard.
Phillips is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sokol manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Phillips manages to get himself to full guard.

Sokol seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Phillips is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
