Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Nevez Amadaus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coochie Man! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ron Honeybunn and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amadaus digs a good body shot into Man's ribs. Amadaus swats away the attempt to clinch by Man. Amadaus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Amadaus moves into the clinch successfully.
Man is trying to push Amadaus away but Amadaus has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Amadaus lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Man backwards. Man taking a breather. Amadaus blocking some punches.
Amadaus lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Amadaus throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Amadaus lands a body punch in the clinch. Amadaus cracks Man with a nice body shot. Amadaus lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Man. Amadaus scores with a shot to the side of Man's head. Amadaus softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice body punch from Amadaus. Amadaus really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Amadaus lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Man backwards. That's one minute gone in the round. Amadaus lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes. Man misses with a knee strike.
I was talking to Amadaus's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Amadaus has Man pressed against the ropes.
Amadaus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Amadaus scores with a nice head shot. Amadaus loads up on a big right hand but Man slips the punch. Man takes a body punch but keeps moving. Amadaus jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Man is rocked! Man tries to keep at a distance but Amadaus has taken the fight into the clinch. Man is still on wobbly legs! Can Amadaus finish him? A quick uppercut on the inside from Amadaus. Amadaus breaks from the clinch.
Nevez Amadaus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Man walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Man is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
