The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Kowalski's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Christophe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Christophe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Christophe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Kowalski shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Christophe felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Kowalski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Christophe is staying active underneath Kowalski, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lenny Kowalski.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kowalski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
