The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Taneyev takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bennet throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taneyev sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It appears Taneyev was looking to counter with a kick there.
Bennet jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Taneyev lands a big head kick that sends Bennet tumbling to the mat! Taneyev takes a step backwards and waves Bennet back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters circle momentarily. Bennet darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Taneyev walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Taneyev is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Bennet like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Bennet from another fist facial!
