The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belport missing with a left hand there. Kulik was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kulik ducks under a wild hook from Belport.
Kulik throws a big counter head kick but Belport avoids it with no problem.
Belport throws a jab but it's blocked by Kulik.
Belport looks to land a right hand but Kulik moved out of range.
Belport waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kulik.

Kulik misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Belport counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've been hearing reports that Belport has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kulik blocks a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kulik.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Belport, as that shot connected.

Belport takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kulik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Belport thuds his right hand into Kulik's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kulik is still on wobbly legs! Can Belport finish him?
We've been informed that Kulik has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
