Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doko Dokov (ranked 1567 p4p, 2328 weight class) and Edgar Avetisyan (ranked 221 p4p, 313 weight class). Doko Dokov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Edgar Avetisyan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doko Dokov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, Edgar Avetisyan!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dokov tries to clinch up but Avetisyan circles away and keeps his distance.
It seemed like Avetisyan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dokov ducks under a wild hook from Avetisyan.
Dokov rushes Avetisyan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dokov scores with a nice hook to the head.
Dokov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Avetisyan wants to get back to striking at distance but Dokov won't allow it.
Avetisyan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Avetisyan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dokov tries to close the distance and clinch but Avetisyan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Avetisyan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Avetisyan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dokov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Avetisyan.
Dokov moves into the clinch.
Dokov working some nice short punches in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Avetisyan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dokov drives through and clinches with Avetisyan against the cage.
Avetisyan tries to break free but Dokov pushes him back against the cage.
Avetisyan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dokov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Avetisyan, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Avetisyan pulls guard successfully.
Avetisyan has his feet on Dokov's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Dokov shoots for a double leg takedown but Avetisyan sprawls well. He's pushed Dokov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Avetisyan let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Avetisyan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Good exchange - Dokov coming out on top.
Avetisyan is rocked!
It looks like Edgar Avetisyan has been cut.
Dokov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Avetisyan can pounce on him.
Avetisyan is still on wobbly legs! Can Dokov finish him?
Dokov tries to clinch there but Avetisyan circles away.
Nice uppercut there from Avetisyan.
Edgar Avetisyan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dokov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Avetisyan throws out a counter right but Dokov avoids it with no problem.
Avetisyan seems to have recovered his senses.
Dokov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Avetisyan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Avetisyan looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Dokov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dokov drives through and clinches with Avetisyan against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Avetisyan manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dokov avoids the head kick by Avetisyan.
Dokov lands a lovely overhand right.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dokov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dokov moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromAvetisyan.
Dokov tries to clinch but Avetisyan is having none of it.
Dokov tries to close the distance and clinch but Avetisyan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dokov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Avetisyan counters with an outside leg kick.
Dokov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Avetisyan tries to avoid it but Dokov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Avetisyan to the ground. Avetisyan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doko Dokov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dokov tries to clinch but Avetisyan is having none of it.

Avetisyan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Dokov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And Avetisyan responds with a good body kick, but Dokov manages to step out the way in time.
Dokov lands with a right and another and another! Avetisyan is in big trouble! Dokov lands again and this time it's lights out for Avetisyan! A quality knockout there for Dokov.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Doko Dokov!
During a confident post fight interview, Doko Dokov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
