Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ogre Toshin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Youta Himura!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Himura on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Himura misses with a right hand
and Himura takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Himura misses with a looping left.
Himura takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Toshin cracks Himura on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Himura falls backwards against the cage. Toshin follows up with more strikes that drop Himura to his knees. Toshin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Himura! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ogre Toshin!
In his post fight interview, Ogre Toshin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
