Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guillaume De Smet (ranked 3033 p4p, 2665 weight class) and Einar Kyrvänsyylä (ranked 354 p4p, 323 weight class). De Smet's entrance music is Gangster's Paradise. A fine choice. Einar Kyrvänsyylä is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Smet slips a jab from Kyrvänsyylä.

It looks like Guillaume De Smet has been cut.
De Smet lands a nice shot to the body.
De Smet throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kyrvänsyylä misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kyrvänsyylä throws a hook to the side of De Smet's head but De Smet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
De Smet rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kyrvänsyylä moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

De Smet bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kyrvänsyylä's head.
De Smet dives in for a single leg takedown but Kyrvänsyylä sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

De Smet is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
De Smet is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kyrvänsyylä.
Kyrvänsyylä connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed De Smet momentarily.

De Smet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kyrvänsyylä moves away.

Kyrvänsyylä let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Kyrvänsyylä might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
De Smet misses with a body punch
and Kyrvänsyylä counters with a nice right hand that sends De Smet toppling to the canvas! De Smet scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kyrvänsyylä finish him?!
Guillaume De Smet's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
