Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pacho Herrera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brutus One!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One shoots in and gets a takedown into Herrera's guard.
One is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
One throws a big elbow that misses.
One controlling from the top position.
One lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
One lands a couple of digs.
One looking to pass the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Herrera tries to strike from the bottom.
One slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Herrera throws his legs up looking for a submission but One uses it to pass to side control.
You can see the frustration on Herrera's face as One controls the position.
Herrera wants to control but One postures up.
One is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Herrera's shoulder. That is not cool.
Herrera on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Herrera tries to get out of the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

One is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Herrera will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Herrera takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
One lands a nice forearm strike.
One slows the pace down.
Herrera knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for One on the ground.
Let's hope that One has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
One lands an elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from One.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Herrera gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Herrera tries to hold on but One postures up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brutus One dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
One gets tackled into the cage by Herrera. Herrera maintains the clinch.

One lands a takedown into guard.
One stays in close to Herrera's body and controls the position.
One has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Herrera had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. One defends it easily.
One slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Herrera is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
One controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
One scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Herrera enables One to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Herrera manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Herrera is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and One dives into side control.
Brutus One has got the better of the ground game so far.
One is putting a hurting on Herrera here, landing some big shots from side control.
One is staying tight to Herrera's torso, preventing him from escaping.
One is continuing to stall.

The adventures of One the control monster continue. Boring.
One avoids the strikes from the bottom by Herrera.
One controlling the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brutus One showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Herrera pushes One up against the cage in a clinch.
Herrera tries to pull guard but One forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Herrera manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
One working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Come on One - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
One changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Herrera fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pacho Herrera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

One shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than One was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

One decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
One looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The referee asks One politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. One prefers to stall for the moment though.

Herrera is trying to escape the position but One is controlling the position.
Herrera tries to bench press One off him but One keeps the position.

One just content to control the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
One's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Herrera tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but One swivels and escapes.
One shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Herrera napping and manages to drive through into side control!
One is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Herrera will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Herrera is looking for a sweep.
Herrera looks to move to half guard but instead One has passed into mount! Damn!

One is landing with some decent strikes but Herrera is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

One is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Herrera can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
One lands a nice shot to the head.
One connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
One tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
One prevents Herrera from getting the reversal.
One takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
One landing strikes, looking to finish!
And that's the end of the fight!
Brutus One comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got One winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
