Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zig Zig (ranked 1713 p4p, 2169 weight class) and Nils Hoglander (ranked 227 p4p, 276 weight class). Nils Hoglander will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zig Zig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nils Hoglander!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoglander throws a predictable looking body shot
and Zig counters with a series of strikes. Hoglander will be more careful next time no doubt.
Zig shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Hoglander counter with a right hand.
Zig shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hoglander as he jumps to the side.
Zig has his takedown stuffed
and Hoglander counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zig Zig. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice sprawl there from Hoglander as Zig shoots in.
Hoglander lands a nice shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoglander misses with a straight right.
Hoglander lands with an overhand left.
Hoglander throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zig misses with a double jab
and Hoglander makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zig keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zig takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hoglander throws a body punch but Zig moves out of range.
Hoglander throws a jab when Zig was well out of range.
Zig shoots in but Hoglander avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zig fails with the takedown
and Hoglander counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zig on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hoglander has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Hoglander comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoglander connects with a nice looking jab.
Zig is rocked!

Oh Zig is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoglander finds Zig's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Zig flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Hoglander lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Zig will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nils Hoglander!
A less than humble Nils Hoglander misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
