The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Non shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Russell's guard.
Non has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Russell is proving hard to escape from.
Non looking to pass the guard.
Russell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Russell working for a triangle but Non defends it easily.
Non postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Non won't allow Russell to sweep him here.
Non decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Russell, up you get!
Russell throws a combination. Non tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Non closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Non lands in his opponent's guard.
Non would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Russell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Non is one step ahead there.
Non seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Russell manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Non tries to improve his position but instead Russell has taken his back!
Non looking very determined here, making life difficult for Russell.
Non trying to control the hands but Russell won't let him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Non is breathing heavily.
Russell has the hooks in. Non is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Russell has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Non is in real trouble here. Russell gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Non is tapping out! Russell wins by rear naked choke!
