Philippe's entrance music is Chant vaudou haitien. A fine choice. Dias is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black Parade. Peguero Jean Philippe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Quintus Dias's chin.

With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Peguero Jean Philippe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quintus Dias!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias throws a poor cross that misses
and Philippe counters with a straight right hand.
Peguero Jean Philippe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Philippe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dias sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dias keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dias throws a fast counter high kick but Philippe manages to duck under it in time.

Dias uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Philippe has time to react.

Philippe misses with a hook. Dias ducked under it nicely.
Dias swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Dias has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Philippe misses with a series of wild punches.
Philippe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dias lands a front kick.
Philippe is breathing heavily.
Dias drops Philippe with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Philippe looks back up at him and smiles so Dias waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Philippe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dias.
Dias will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dias lands a big right hand that sends Philippe crashing to the mat! Dias stays standing though and waves Philippe back to his feet!

Dias throws a hook to the side of Philippe's head but Philippe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A little feinted left hand from Philippe on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Philippe throws a looping overhand right but Dias ducks down to avoid it.
Dias looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dias avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dias takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Philippe moves out of range as Dias throws a body kick.
Dias connects with a nice looking jab.
Peguero Jean Philippe's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Philippe walks into a stiff left hand from Dias.
Dias throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Dias pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Dias misses with a body kick.
Philippe connects with a nice looking jab.
Dias feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Philippe sprawling to the canvas! Philippe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dias finish him?!
Oh Philippe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dias misses with a body shot.
Dias fakes the body blow, causing Philippe to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Philippe goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
